Wendy Rodriguez 

Wendy Rodriguez is the visionary founder of Fearless Footsteps, a Guatemalan-American community leader whose life and work reflect a deep commitment to service, empowerment, and the development of Long Island communities.

Her story is one of resilience and hope. Becoming a mother at the age of 15 did not stop her purpose; instead, it strengthened her determination to transform adversity into opportunity and to prove that, through faith, courage, and consistent effort, a meaningful and dignified future is possible.

Wendy’s entrepreneurial journey began at 21 with the acquisition of the Curves fitness franchise. Years later, she founded Ultimate Sweat Zone (USZ)—a space dedicated to women’s physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, as well as the artistic and personal development of children and youth.

In 2016, Wendy founded Fearless Footsteps, a nonprofit organization that has become a pillar of support and a beacon of hope for youth and families in Brentwood and across Long Island. Under her leadership, thousands of dollars have been raised to support programs focused on self-esteem, mental and emotional health, spiritual growth, youth leadership, and access to educational opportunities.

Passionate about wellness and human development, Wendy holds more than 12 certifications in areas including fitness, nutrition, communication, marketing, and branding. Her professional background strengthens her mission to educate, empower, and guide individuals and families toward healthier, more stable, and purpose-driven lives.

Wendy’s impact and leadership have been recognized by numerous organizations, including Women Business of the Year by the Long Island Chamber of Commerce, as well as honors from Mujer Actual Magazine, Latina Exitosa, Latino Star, Queens Courier, and Mujeres Sin Límites, among others.

Beyond her community work, Wendy has reached thousands of households through television and radio programs such as Empowering Women TV & Radio, El Rescate del Día, Brillando Sin Límites, and currently Wendy Rodriguez Live on 98.5 FM La Fiesta, sharing messages of faith, motivation, and leadership.

Her dedication to family stability and long-term empowerment is also reflected in Operation Get Informed, an educational initiative that guides Long Island residents through the homeownership process, financial education, and the path toward building generational wealth.

Today, Wendy Rodriguez continues to lead with purpose and compassion.
